The snow consumes me.
My world.
Little by little, it gently stretches across the land,
the street signs,
the tree-branches and treehouses,
the parked cars and stiff ground,
and covers it
As if telling it to
slow down
and
rest for a bit.
Rivers run a little slower,
linger a little longer by the bank,
tire swings dip a little lower,
and each pathway look a little farther off,
a little more secluded.
Just when life gets a little too hectic,
a little too crowded,
the sky shed a blank canvas
For the traveller to stop, and
start again.
The snow consumes me.
